• James K. "Keith" Skiles graduated from Texas Tech in 1966. He served in Vietnam from April 1970 to May of 1971 with Companies C, E, and A of the 3rd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He retired from the military as a lieutenant colonel in 1989, and is married to Sally Long Skiles.
