• Lt. Colonel Richard Baird

  Class of '55

• Richard Baird graduated from Texas Tech University in 1955 and was a member of the first Air Force ROTC class at TTU. He served in Vietnam from March 1968 to March 1969 as a C-7 Caribou pilot in the 457th Tactical Airlift Squadron. He retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel in 1975.
